Cerro Church

In a short distance from the district of Foppa of Cerro, going up along the muletrack, it is possible to meet the other main district of Cerro, Rudino. Within the district of Rudino stands the small church of the Annunciation with its rustic bell. The church was built in 1910 on a former oratory from ‘600. The picturesque bell tower, unlike the church, is devoid of plaster, but with the building apparatus still perfect and well preserved.

Every year in April 25th the district celebrates “Our Lady of the Annunciation” with a religious procession, auction of objects and animals and food service at the school on weekends during the feast.
